About
To enhance mathematical collaboration and academic exchange among BRICS countries—Brazil, China, India, Russia, and South Africa, the BRICS Mathematics Conference was established in 2017 and is held annually across the five member nations.
The inaugural conference took place in Beijing, China, in August 2017, followed by subsequent editions in Brazil (2018), Russia (2019), and India (2020). The fifth conference, originally scheduled for South Africa, was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.
The BRICS Mathematics Conference is governed by two committees: the Core Committee and the Scientific Committee. Each member country nominates three plenary speakers, representing the fields of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and probability & statistics.
The 6th BRICS Mathematics Conference will be hosted by Hainan University from December 11–14, 2025. We warmly welcome your participation!
